Tonioli Studio Children’s Choir is a music program that gives children the opportunity to grow as singers while participating in professional recording, music video production, and live performances. The choir is dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of music by creating a positive, encouraging environment where children can develop their vocal talents, build friendships, and share uplifting songs that inspire others and strengthen faith in Christ.
Unlike many traditional children’s choirs, members rehearse in a professional recording studio, allowing them to experience every stage of the creative process. Throughout the year, students have opportunities to record original songs, collaborate with accomplished songwriters and recording artists, and appear in professionally produced music videos. These experiences help children gain confidence while learning valuable performance and recording skills that extend beyond weekly rehearsals.
The choir regularly collaborates with respected musicians and composers including Jason Tonioli, Monica Scott, Carrie Yost, Shawna Edwards, and other guest artists. Students have the unique opportunity to learn directly from experienced performers, songwriters, and vocal coaches while participating in meaningful musical projects. In addition to recording sessions, choir members perform in community concerts several times each year, giving them opportunities to showcase their progress and share inspiring music with others.
For students seeking additional instruction, the program also offers small group voice lessons led by experienced vocal coaches. These lessons provide focused guidance on vocal technique, performance skills, and musical development in a supportive setting.
The choir welcomes children who are able to participate successfully in rehearsals, with most members ranging from approximately five to fifteen years of age. Weekly rehearsals provide structured instruction while maintaining a fun atmosphere that encourages creativity, teamwork, and personal growth.
Led by Choir Director Suzanne Stirland and supported by a talented team of musicians, accompanists, vocal coaches, and recording professionals, Tonioli Studio Children’s Choir offers a one-of-a-kind experience for young singers.
