Equally Fit was created to make the world of fitness more accessible, supportive, and empowering for neurodiverse individuals. Led by Dr. Mark Fleming—an autistic adult, lifelong athlete, and doctor of kinesiology—Equally Fit offers a unique virtual coaching experience that understands movement through both lived experience and scientific expertise. For many autistic individuals, traditional fitness spaces can feel overwhelming or inaccessible. Equally Fit was built to change that.
Dr. Fleming’s personal journey with movement, combined with his professional background in Exercise Science and Kinesiology, shaped his mission: to help every person build confidence, coordination, and strength through a compassionate and individualized approach. What began in 2016 out of the trunk of a car quickly grew into in-home training, a physical studio, and now a fully virtual model that allows clients from anywhere to access high-quality, neurodiversity-affirming fitness support.
Virtual training makes movement more flexible and more comfortable. Sessions are tailored to each client’s sensory needs, communication style, motor skills, and personal goals. Whether someone is building fundamental movement patterns, improving coordination, learning lifelong fitness habits, or regaining confidence after setbacks, the approach is always patient, adaptive, and strengths-based.
Equally Fit also reflects Dr. Fleming’s commitment to advocacy and education. Beyond coaching, he is recognized as a leader in disability fitness, the first autistic chair of the CARD Constituency Board, and a frequent voice in media promoting inclusive wellness. His academic achievements—including a PhD in Kinesiology—strengthen the scientific foundation behind every session.
Clients and families trust Equally Fit for one reason: the work changes lives. Movement becomes doable. Exercise becomes enjoyable. Confidence grows. And every individual is supported as they develop skills that extend far beyond fitness.
If you’re ready for coaching that meets you where you are—virtually, compassionately, and without limits—Equally Fit is here to help you move forward.
