Little Light Log Cabin: Wholehearted Education Rooted in Faith and Nature
Little Light Log Cabin is a nonprofit Christian school in Utah dedicated to providing a rich, relational education that nurtures the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. What began as a dream on a 5-acre ranch with 70 animals and 90 homeschool students has blossomed into a thriving educational movement grounded in faith, family, and hands-on learning.
Now located on a 1.3-acre homestead with a 4,800 sq. ft. schoolhouse, Little Light Log Cabin offers a unique learning environment where students grow through immersive experiences in nature, literature, and community. Our curriculum is designed to ignite wonder and cultivate wisdom, blending traditional academics with practical life skills and spiritual formation.
Programs span Pre-K through 12th grade and include virtual instruction, Barn Days, Camp Thrive, and Nature Ready experiences. Students engage in living books, nature study, language arts, mathematics, agriculture, animal care, handicrafts, speech, entrepreneurship, and outdoor play—all guided by Christian values and a deep respect for each child’s God-given potential.
Inspired by Psalm 119:105—“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path”—we walk in the light of God’s truth, trusting Him to illuminate each student’s journey. As a registered 501(c)(3), we are committed to building a community where families grow together in faith, virtue, and joyful learning.
