Let’s Fly VR: Immersive Virtual Reality Flight Training for Future Aviators
Let’s Fly VR provides aspiring pilots — especially kids and teens — a safe, affordable, and exciting way to experience real-world aviation through high-fidelity virtual reality flight simulators. Participants wear a VR headset and sit at realistic airplane controls inside a virtual cockpit, where a built-in virtual flight instructor, along with guidance from real pilot mentors, leads them through essential flight lessons ranging from basic maneuvers to more advanced skills.
The program includes a structured “Read, Watch, Do” curriculum featuring up to 60 VR flight missions. Families and students can choose short introductory sessions or the more in-depth “Path to Pilot” course, which aligns with real-world Private Pilot certification standards. Throughout training, students learn critical aviation concepts such as takeoffs, landings, navigation, instrument procedures, emergency techniques, and flight planning — all within a fully immersive, risk-free environment designed to build confidence before ever entering a real aircraft.
Let’s Fly VR also partners with schools, STEM programs, and youth organizations. Their mobile “SimPod” setup can be delivered directly to classrooms or events, allowing large groups to experience aviation without requiring on-site flight instructors. This makes it ideal for career-exploration days, CTE programs, aviation clubs, and special events.
