Brave Writer offers a full range of writing resources and online classes designed for every age and stage—from emerging writers at age 5 to college-bound teens. If you’re just getting started, simply choose the age of your child to explore our recommended programs. Families with multiple children can select the For Families track to find materials that fit everyone.
If you already know what you need, jump right into our shop and browse collections, bundles, writing manuals, literature guides, grammar resources, and more. Every product is created to help you coach your child with confidence while inspiring a lifelong love of writing.
Our award-winning online classes have been transforming writers for 23 years—long before online learning became mainstream. With over 30,000 students from 191 countries, our classes offer flexible scheduling, engaging projects, and expert instruction from published authors and alternative educators. We offer everything from essay writing and literature discussions to songwriting, science writing, nature journaling, and history labs. Classes last 3–6 weeks, require no special materials, and start every Monday.
Parents aren’t left out either—one-of-a-kind parent classes teach you how to support and coach your writer effectively. Our approach works beautifully alongside Charlotte Mason, Classical, Montessori, Waldorf, and Unschooling educational methods.
