Mathnasium of Highland provides personalized math instruction designed to help students build understanding, confidence, and stronger problem-solving skills. The center serves students in Alpine and Highland with programs tailored to individual learning needs, including support for students who are struggling with math as well as those ready for more advanced challenges.
Tutors use the Mathnasium Method™, a teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with mental, verbal, visual, tactile, and written techniques. Each student begins with a diagnostic assessment to identify existing knowledge and areas that need additional instruction. This information is used to develop a personalized learning plan before students begin their sessions.
Mathnasium of Highland offers programs for students at different stages of their education. Elementary students from kindergarten through fifth grade can strengthen arithmetic and problem-solving foundations, while the center also provides support for middle and high school students. Services include math tutoring, homework help, test preparation, and assistance with a range of math classes.
The center emphasizes a focused, caring, and fun learning environment with specially trained tutors and personalized instruction. Mathnasium Plus is also available for high-achieving students who want to move beyond grade-level mathematics and develop more advanced mathematical thinking.
