Kids’ Swim Lessons Focused on Safety and Confidence

Goldfish Swim School – South Jordan provides year-round swimming lessons for children from 4 months through 12 years old in a warm, welcoming indoor environment. The program focuses on helping young swimmers develop water safety skills, confidence, and swimming abilities through supportive instruction and age-appropriate activities.

With small classes capped at four students, children receive close attention from instructors while progressing at their own pace. Certified instructors use the SwimSmart curriculum to teach swimmers of different ages and skill levels, with lessons designed to help children learn foundational abilities such as floating, moving through the water, treading water, and developing greater comfort in aquatic environments. Safety skills are incorporated into weekly lessons as children build their abilities.

Programs include options for infants, toddlers, and older children, allowing families to continue swimming instruction as their children grow. Younger swimmers can focus on becoming comfortable in the water, developing basic movement, and learning water awareness, while older children work on swimming techniques, coordination, independence, and water safety. The school also offers flexible scheduling and up to 12 free make-up lessons per membership year.

Goldfish Swim School – South Jordan is designed with families in mind, with comfortable seating areas and a family-friendly atmosphere. The facility features warm indoor pools maintained at approximately 90 degrees, allowing children to learn comfortably throughout the year. Families from South Jordan, Riverton, Draper, and surrounding communities can access lessons that combine skill development with fun and encouragement.

In addition to weekly swim lessons, Goldfish Swim School offers swim assessments to help determine appropriate class placement, family swim opportunities, Jumpstart clinics, water safety programs, and parties.
