Beehive Speech Therapy provides individualized speech-language pathology services for children and adults experiencing challenges with communication, cognition, feeding, or swallowing. Led by licensed speech-language pathologist Amelia Jackson, M.S., SLP-CCC, the practice brings experience from school, hospital, and rehabilitation settings to clients ranging from infancy through older adulthood.
Services may support individuals with speech and language delays, voice disorders, swallowing and feeding difficulties, cognitive changes following neurological injury, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs. Beehive Speech Therapy also has experience working with individuals affected by stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal injuries, autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental and congenital disorders, ALS, spinal muscular atrophy, and other conditions that can affect communication or swallowing.
A central part of Beehive Speech Therapy’s approach is collaboration. Therapy recognizes that communication and recovery affect not only the individual, but also family members and others who provide support. Clients and caregivers are treated as active members of the therapy team, with individualized goals designed around real-life needs and meaningful progress.
Beehive Speech Therapy offers professional evaluations, in-home therapy sessions, virtual appointments via Zoom, and free initial consultations, making services easier to access while creating a supportive environment focused on connection, confidence, and improved quality of life.
