Momentum Climbing provides indoor climbing, fitness, instruction, and youth development programs at multiple locations throughout Utah. The organization offers opportunities for beginners, experienced climbers, children, teens, and adults, creating a progression-based environment where participants can learn climbing skills, improve fitness, build confidence, and develop a lasting interest in the sport.
Youth programs serve children and teens ages 3–18 and are organized by age, experience, and ability. Programs include Mo Mini for younger climbers, Base Camp for ages 8–11, Youth Club for ages 12–18, homeschool programs, competitive climbing teams, and seasonal camps. Instruction emphasizes climbing movement, technique, physical literacy, confidence, teamwork, and personal growth.
Momentum also provides individualized personal instruction for climbers ages 3 and older. One-on-one coaching can focus on improving technique, building strength and endurance, preparing for competitions, transitioning to outdoor climbing, or achieving specific personal climbing goals.
For younger participants, climbing camps combine climbing with games and other activities designed to encourage exploration, self-discovery, and active play. More advanced youth can progress into structured competitive programs, with training focused on movement technique, strength, strategy, confidence, and competition experience.
Adult offerings include introductory climbing instruction, bouldering classes, personal coaching, leagues and clubs, yoga, and group fitness. Depending on the location, climbers can access bouldering, top-rope, and lead climbing. The Lehi facility is dedicated to bouldering, providing shorter climbing walls without ropes or harnesses while still teaching foundational climbing movement and technique.
Overall, Momentum Climbing combines accessible recreation with structured skill development, giving individuals and families opportunities to learn, exercise, challenge themselves, and become part of an active climbing community.
