Daylight Speech Services is a community-based pediatric speech therapy practice serving children and families throughout Utah County. With a focus on personalized, play-based therapy, the practice helps children strengthen communication skills, build confidence, and develop the abilities they need to connect with others. Services are available for children ages 1 through 13, with individualized treatment designed around each child’s needs and developmental goals.
The practice specializes in three primary areas of communication development: articulation, language, and social communication. Articulation therapy helps children pronounce sounds and words more clearly. Language therapy supports receptive language, which involves understanding communication, and expressive language, which involves sharing thoughts, ideas, and needs. Social communication therapy focuses on skills such as taking turns, recognizing social cues, interacting with others, and building meaningful connections.
Daylight Speech Services emphasizes making therapy both engaging and productive. Sessions incorporate play-based activities and are tailored to each child’s abilities, interests, and goals. This individualized approach allows children to practice communication skills in a supportive environment while developing confidence and making progress.
The practice also values collaboration with parents and caregivers. Families receive strategies and home practice activities to reinforce skills between appointments and support continued development in everyday situations. By involving parents in the process, Daylight Speech Services helps families extend the benefits of therapy beyond the treatment session.
The practice is led by Cassidy, an owner and speech-language pathologist with an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University. Her approach balances fun with purposeful instruction to create meaningful learning experiences for each child.
Daylight Speech Services serves families in Provo, Orem, Lindon, Pleasant Grove, and American Fork. The practice accepts the Utah Fits All Scholarship and Children First Education Fund, allowing eligible families to use scholarship funds toward evaluations and therapy sessions.
