Personalized Pediatric Occupational Therapy for Growing Independence

Play Learn Grow Occupational Therapy provides accessible, personalized, and affordable pediatric occupational therapy designed to help children develop essential skills for everyday life. Services take place in the comfort of the child’s home or another agreed-upon natural environment, such as a playground or park. The practice focuses on empowering children and families by promoting independence, supporting developmental progress, and enhancing overall well-being.

The practice offers a range of services tailored to each child’s needs and family goals. Feeding therapy addresses challenges such as picky eating, eating difficulties, and swallowing concerns while encouraging positive mealtime experiences and healthy eating habits. Emotional and self-regulation services help children develop coping strategies, manage emotions, and improve attention. Sensory processing support uses individualized activities to help children respond more effectively to sensory information and participate more comfortably in daily routines.

Motor skill development focuses on improving fine and gross motor abilities, coordination, strength, and dexterity. Occupational therapy also supports independence in self-care and play, helping children build skills related to dressing, grooming, feeding, social interaction, and problem-solving. Parent education and training are incorporated into the approach, giving caregivers practical strategies and guidance to reinforce their child’s progress at home.

Play Learn Grow Occupational Therapy is led by Dr. Lyndsay Fait, OTD, OTR/L, a pediatric occupational therapist with more than 15 years of experience in clinical practice and higher education. She earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and has advanced training in sensory integration, feeding strategies, and handwriting development. Her additional experience includes the SOS Approach to Feeding, Handwriting Without Tears workshops, trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based stress reduction for children, and executive functioning strategies.

The practice combines evidence-based techniques with engaging, individualized activities to help children build confidence and participate more fully in home, school, play, and community life. By partnering with parents and caregivers, Play Learn Grow Occupational Therapy aims to support each child’s development and help families create meaningful opportunities for growth and independence.
