London Studios is a locally owned music education studio serving students in Holladay and North Salt Lake, Utah. Established in 2006, the studio helps children, teens, and adults develop musical skills, creative confidence, and their own artistic voices. Its teaching philosophy emphasizes creativity over memorization, encouraging students to understand music, explore their interests, and gain the skills to play, perform, and write music independently.
London Studios offers private instruction in a wide range of musical disciplines, including piano, guitar, bass guitar, classical guitar, ukulele, drums, voice, violin, and cello. Students can also explore songwriting and music production. Experienced instructors personalize lessons for beginners through advanced musicians, creating an encouraging environment where students can progress at their own pace while developing their individual talents.
Beyond private lessons, London Studios provides opportunities for students to collaborate and perform. Its award-winning rock band programs give musicians experience playing together, while live performances, open mics, and two annual recitals help students build stage confidence. Free monthly workshops and masterclasses offer additional opportunities to learn, develop new techniques, and connect with other musicians. Students can also participate in songwriting, recording, and music production activities.
With more than 500 students attending weekly, London Studios fosters a community where musicians can learn from one another and share their passion for music. The studio emphasizes personal instruction, accomplished teachers, and professional-quality equipment to create an engaging learning experience for students at different skill levels.
London Studios operates two Utah locations. The Holladay studio serves students at its music school and band rehearsal space, while the North Salt Lake location offers music instruction and event space. Through its combination of individualized lessons, collaborative programs, and live performance opportunities, London Studios helps students strengthen their musical abilities, discover their creativity, and develop the courage to share their talents with others.
