Play-Based Emotional and Social Skills Program for Young Children

The Princess Starseed & Bloozey Empowerment Program is an interactive, play-based online program designed to help children ages 2–7 develop confidence, emotional awareness, social skills, creativity, and positive problem-solving habits. Created for parents, preschool teachers, child counselors, and other caregivers, the program provides practical tools that adults can use alongside children as they learn through stories, songs, videos, crafts, games, and guided activities.

The curriculum is built around a group of ten “Feathered Friends,” each representing a positive quality children can develop, including bravery, gratitude, helpfulness, curiosity, friendliness, and kindness. Children also learn to recognize unhelpful thought patterns through the program’s “Thought Pirates” characters, providing a playful way to discuss negative self-talk and encourage healthier responses.

The program includes instructional videos for adult guides, child-focused lessons, bonus videos, and 120 additional merit-based activities. A downloadable 215-page parent guide and activity manual gives caregivers additional resources for incorporating the lessons into everyday life. Core concepts include self-awareness, problem-solving, making choices, accountability, positive action, and natural feedback.

Designed to make emotional learning engaging rather than intimidating, the program encourages adults and children to participate together and build stronger communication and connections. It is also an approved provider for the Utah Fits All Education Scholarship and Children First Education Fund. In addition to the online curriculum, Princess Starseed and Bloozey offer school and organization visits featuring interactive storytelling, songs, and activities for young children.
