Kyu Shin Ryu Karate provides martial arts instruction through after-school programs and on-site classes hosted at schools and other community locations. Its programs make karate training accessible to children and families across multiple locations in the Salt Lake Valley.
The school’s classes introduce students to karate techniques and structured martial arts practice. Training can help students develop coordination, balance, physical fitness, concentration, and an understanding of martial arts discipline. Through regular instruction, students have opportunities to practice movement skills, follow directions, and develop consistency in their training.
A key feature of the program is its school-based delivery model. Rather than requiring every family to travel to a dedicated martial arts studio, Kyu Shin Ryu Karate partners with schools and organizations to offer classes at their locations. This arrangement gives students opportunities to participate in karate as part of their after-school activities and allows schools to incorporate martial arts instruction into their extracurricular offerings.
The organization works with multiple educational institutions and community partners throughout the region, including schools in Saratoga Springs, Sandy, Herriman, Bluffdale, and Lehi. It also welcomes inquiries from schools and groups interested in hosting on-site karate classes.
Families and organizations can contact the instructors directly for information about class availability, program arrangements, and participation. The service is suited to schools seeking extracurricular martial arts programming and families interested in introducing children to karate in a familiar, school-based setting.
