Touchtree OT provides pediatric occupational therapy services to help children develop the skills needed for everyday activities, independence, and participation at home, in school, and in the community. Using a play-based, evidence-informed approach, the practice works with children experiencing sensory processing differences, developmental delays, fine motor challenges, and difficulties with daily routines.
Services address a range of developmental needs, including sensory processing and emotional regulation, feeding difficulties and selective eating, sleep challenges, fine motor development, self-care, and school readiness. Therapy activities may focus on handwriting, cutting, grasping objects, dressing, bathing, toothbrushing, toileting, mealtime participation, transitions, and classroom routines.
Touchtree OT offers both in-home occupational therapy and clinic-based sessions. Home and natural-environment visits allow children to practice skills in familiar settings, including the home, parks, and preschools. Clinic-based appointments take place in a pediatric therapy space in Holladay, Utah, where movement, play, and individualized activities support therapeutic goals.
The practice follows a neurodiversity-affirming approach that recognizes each child’s individual strengths, sensory needs, and ways of interacting with the world. Caregiver collaboration is an important part of the process, with strategies intended to help families incorporate skill development into everyday routines.
Services are available across Utah’s Wasatch Front, from Ogden to Draper, with additional travel options into Utah County. The practice also offers support from a certified pediatric sleep consultant for children experiencing sleep difficulties. Insurance participation includes BlueCross BlueShield, University of Utah Health Plans, and select Select Health plans, with private-pay options also available.
