Faith Baptist Academy is a Christian school in Layton, Utah, serving students from preschool through sixth grade. The academy provides an education centered on faith, academic growth, character development, and a sense of purpose. Its mission extends beyond preparing children for the next grade, focusing on helping students develop a strong relationship with God, make wise decisions, work diligently, and use their abilities to positively influence the world.
The school emphasizes four core principles: knowing God deeply, thinking biblically, pursuing academic excellence, and influencing the world through Christian faith. Students are encouraged to develop a personal faith, understand the world through a biblical perspective, and approach their studies with dedication. Faith Baptist Academy aims to help children grow academically, socially, and spiritually in an environment where they are known, encouraged, challenged, and supported.
Recognizing that every child is unique, the academy values personalized education and small class sizes. Its learning environment emphasizes character development, a biblical foundation, academic progress, and a caring school community. The school also views parents as important partners in their children’s education, working alongside families to support each student’s growth and development.
Faith Baptist Academy also welcomes military families, particularly those connected to nearby Hill Air Force Base. Understanding that military life can involve moves, deployments, and other transitions, the school strives to provide a supportive community where children feel welcomed and cared for.
Families considering Faith Baptist Academy can schedule a visit to meet the staff, explore the school environment, and learn more about its educational approach. The academy offers separate application options for preschool and the broader school, allowing families to begin exploring enrollment for their children.
Through its combination of Christian teaching, academic expectations, character development, and family partnership, Faith Baptist Academy seeks to prepare students not only for future educational opportunities but also for lives guided by faith, wisdom, responsibility, and purpose.
